Throwing confetti around is now one of Miss I's favourite things to do!
This mini session was all systems go from the moment our little miss stepped into the photo studio. How cute is that metallic blue jacket?!

This cutie loved finding those eggs! Mr J is turning 1! How scrumptious does this cake from Love Inside look? Designed especially for this Cake Smash Session in our Brisbane portrait studio, it smelled amazing! It took Mr J a little while to warm up, but soon he was slipping and sliding in a cakey mess. Think he had the most fun in the wash up bubble bath - this little boy likes to be all squeaky clean :) Cake by Love Inside www.facebook.com/LoveInsideBrisbane

Fruit Smash 'mini' session! Miss R's {3.5 years} fruit of choice was the juicy watermelon! Messy and fun, this portrait session is perfect for your fruity little person and isn't reserved just for birthdays! Miss L lit up the Portrait Studio with her cheeky little smile.
This girls knows how to work that camera, giving us little scrunched up nose smiles and giggles. Not too sure who was having the most fun! 'Mini' studio sessions are perfect for littlies like Miss L, long enough to capture gorgeous images, short enough that no one gets cranky! It's amazing how quickly they grow up in 6 months! This gorgeous boy stunned us with those beautiful eyes and flashed a few smiles for us during his 6 month portrait session in the studio.
Valentine's Day is all about LOVE and we LOVE, L O V E!
Love of all kinds :) Miss I {8months} flashed her lovely smiles for our Valentine's 'mini' session. {Guest Blogger - Holly, mum of two rugrats} With a little girl on her way to Prep this year, it got me thinking, why would I book a back to school mini session? Mini sessions are such a wonderful way to capture special occasions and milestones in the life of your children! They are also a nice wake up call to replace those ‘dated’ photos in your photo frames around the living room. Here is my own personal list of reasons I would book a back to school mini session with Melanie Rose Photography: 1. Kids more relaxed. During a ‘mini’ session with Melanie Rose Photography, even the quietest of children will be jumping for joy! A relaxed atmosphere to help capture such a precious moment. 2. A snap shot in time. We all know, as mums, that our children grow way too quickly. Photos are so important to capture memories and ensure we always have these special memories to share! 3. Encourage your children to be motivated and excited for this big event in their life!
Moving from Kindy to Prep is a major event in a young person’s life! Showing the importance of it and getting them excited diminishes the nerves that come along with it all! A cute photo shoot will help build this excitement. 4. Practise wearing their school uniform and school shoes! There is nothing worse on the first day of school than a child saying their shoes hurt or their uniform ‘tickles,’ we have all been there. What a great way to practise wearing the uniform and shoes and capturing a moment in time! 5. Share the love! Are there Grandparents, God Parents or other relatives that will miss out on that first day? That’s easy! Provide them with a beautiful photo of their loved ones so they feel included! - Holly, mum of two rugrats January 2017 Back to School 'mini' sessions in our Newmarket Studio now booking Contact us on 0419 794 622 or info@melaniephotographycom How to keep a 4 year old happy in the studio? Give him confetti to throw around! Always looking for new and fun themes for our portrait photography, this Confetti 'mini' session sure was a hit with Mr. 4. He was a superstar in our Newmarket Studio. Mr 4: Mum will we be coming back to see her again for more photos? I think it's safe to say he loved it!
Confetti 'mini' session It's not often your allowed to just throw things around to make a mess, but that's exactly what we are encouraging in the studio and don't they just LOVE it!
A 'mini' session all about expressions and having fun! Miss 'R' {4 years} was the first to try out our new 'mini' session theme in our Brisbane portrait studio and I think it pretty safe to say she approves. It was off to our super sneaky location with my favourite armchair for this 'Me & Mum 'mini' session'!
Back to School themed 'mini' sessions are one of my favourites to photograph in the portrait studio! The prep kids are so much fun to chat to with and photograph. Packed with personality, they have so many ideas about the world and are only to happy to share their thoughts with you...sometimes their thoughts are incredibly mature and logical and sometimes they go off on crazy fun tangents, full of imagination!
Who doesn't LOVE Christmas!! The Christmas 'mini' sessions are super popular this December, with a combination of studio and outdoor shoot all wrapped up in a 20min 'mini' session!
Sometimes you don't need loads of time to capture great images. Introducing the 'Cute' Shoot, a mini session of only 15mins and here are the results.
We all love our Mum's! What a great pressie for Mum for Mother's Day...a special portrait session. Bring in the Makeup Artist, bring in the hairdresser and lets have fun!
This little smile just wouldn't quit! How cheeky is birthday girl Roisin, posing for the photograph for her 2nd Birthday invites....frozen theme of course.
To celebrate hitting the big 1000 facebook likers, we gave away a portrait session and these love birds were our lucky winners! Utilising the inside and the outside of the studio these two got some practice snaps in before
their big day. |
